## The films, in release order

1. [*Ice Age*](https://film.one/film/ice-age.md) (2002) — Fi1m 73: *Ice Age* is a likeable, briskly told comedy whose familiar story benefits from Ray Romano’s weary warmth. The banter sometimes tries too hard, but Scrat’s acorn pursuit supplies the simplest, funniest business.
2. [*Ice Age: The Meltdown*](https://film.one/film/ice-age-the-meltdown.md) (2006) — Fi1m 61: Carlos Saldanha’s animated sequel has enough good slapstick to keep children amused, but its scattered story makes the quieter stretches feel like waiting. Scrat remains the chief attraction; the talking animals have less to say.
