### Reviews we read (2)

- **Radio Times**, Jayne Nelson (3/5): Nelson calls it an engaging cop thriller and says Jackie Chan is in fine form. She also praises Zhang Zifeng for holding her own opposite Chan. [Read](https://www.radiotimes.com/movie-guide/b-9wvnv9/the-shadows-edge)
- **The Guardian**, Leslie Felperin (40/100, inferred): Felperin finds the thriller bloated, overlong and unnecessarily complicated, though Jackie Chan keeps it watchable. She singles out his inventive fight scenes for praise and the convoluted crime plot for complaint.
