Anna Beth Chao, also credited as A.B. Chao or AB Chao, is an American television writer. She wrote an episode of the series *Eli Stone* (2008) and later joined the writers' room for the Netflix series *You* (2018–2025).

On *You*, she advanced from roles as writers' assistant and script coordinator to staff writer, story editor and credited writer on multiple episodes across later seasons.
