Aaron Harberts is an American television writer and producer. Born on 20 January 1973 in Iowa, he attended Northwestern University, where he met his long-term writing and producing partner Gretchen J. Berg.

Harberts and Berg began their professional partnership on the ninth season of *Beverly Hills, 90210* in 1998. They went on to write for *Roswell* (1999), create *Pepper Dennis* (2006), and work on *Wonderfalls*, *Pushing Daisies* (2007), *Mercy*, *Revenge* (2011), *Reign* (2013) and *Star Trek: Discovery* (2017), where they served as co-showrunners until 2018. They later contributed to *Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist* (2020). Harberts also received screenplay credit on the 2001 film *Valentine*.
