Aaron Lipstadt is an American film and television director and producer. He was born on 12 November 1952 in Southington, Connecticut.

He began his career in 1980 as an assistant production manager on the film *Battle Beyond the Stars* and went on to work in production on several other films. Lipstadt made his directorial debut with the feature *Android* (1982) and followed it with *City Limits* (1984). Since 1986 he has worked primarily in television, directing episodes of series including *Miami Vice* (1986), *Law & Order* (1991), *Quantum Leap*, *The Division*, *Medium* and *Grimm*.
