## Biography

Adam Belanger is a Canadian production designer working in film, television and theatre. Based in Toronto, Ontario, he studied theatre at the University of British Columbia and began his career designing for theatrical productions and music videos, frequently collaborating with David Lafontaine of the Unit 102 Theatre Company.

He is known for his production design on the film *BlackBerry* (2023), for which he shared the Canadian Screen Award for Best Art Direction/Production Design at the 12th Canadian Screen Awards in 2024. His other credits include the film *Wexford Plaza* (2016) and the television series *Nirvanna the Band the Show* (2016–2018), *Miss Persona* (2018–2019) and *Running with Violet* (2019–2020). In 2018 he directed a production of *Isaac's Eye* at Toronto's Assembly Theatre. With Lafontaine he co-directed the feature *A Breed Apart*, which premiered in 2025.
