## Biography

Adam Brown is an English actor and comedian. He is known for playing the dwarf Ori in Peter Jackson's *The Hobbit* film trilogy (2012–2014) and Cremble in *Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales* (2017). His other screen credits include Kyle in the series *The End of the F***ing World* (2017), Mr Gerrard in *The Limehouse Golem* (2016) and a voice role in *The Emoji Movie* (2017).

Brown trained in performing arts at Middlesex University, London, where he co-founded the comedy theatre troupe Plested and Brown with Clare Plested. He wrote and performed in the company's shows, including *Carol Smillie Trashed My Room*, *The Reconditioned Wife Show*, *Flamingo Flamingo Flamingo*, *Hot Pursuit*, *Minor Spectacular*, *Health & Stacey* and *The Perfect Wife Roadshow*. The troupe toured the UK and performed internationally, and Brown has appeared in pantomime and other stage work.
