## Biography

Adam Offord Buxton (born 7 June 1969) is an English comedian, podcaster and actor. With filmmaker Joe Cornish he forms the comedy duo Adam and Joe, who created and starred in the Channel 4 series *The Adam and Joe Show* (1996–2001) and presented BBC Radio 6 Music programmes.

Buxton has appeared in films including *Hot Fuzz* (2007) as Tim Messenger, *Stardust* (2007) as Quintus, *Son of Rambow* (2007) as the Science Teacher, and *Attack the Block* (2011). He has voiced characters in the *Sing* films (2016, 2021) and appeared in *The Kid Who Would Be King* (2019). His solo work includes the podcast *The Adam Buxton Podcast* (from 2015) and appearances on panel shows such as *Would I Lie to You?* and *The IT Crowd* (2006).
