Adam J. Karp is a writer whose credits include work on the television series *Once Upon a Time* (2011). He served as a writer and executive story editor on 22 episodes of its seventh season (2017–2018).

Karp began his career in additional crew roles, including as a staff assistant on the 2002 film *Minority Report* and as an assistant on episodes of *Battlestar Galactica* and *Friday Night Lights*. He worked as a writer's assistant on *In Plain Sight* in 2010 before writing the 2011 television film *Morlocks*. He later wrote an episode of *Teen Wolf* (2017) and episodes of *Freakish* (2017), and has a story credit on the 2026 film *Swapped*. In 2012 he received the Humanitas Prize New Voices Award.
