## Biography

Adam Parton is an Australian animation director. He began working in the industry in the 1990s as an in-betweener at the Disney Toons Studio in Sydney on projects including *The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride* (1998) and *Aladdin and the King of Thieves* (1996).

Parton moved to Los Angeles in 2013. He joined the production of *BoJack Horseman* (2014) as a character designer on the first season and later directed episodes across seasons 3, 5 and 6, as well as serving as animation director. He has also directed episodes of *Tuca & Bertie* (2019) and *Velma* (2023), and was supervising director on *Captain Fall* (2023). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his work.
