## Biography

Adam R. Perlman is an American television and film writer, director and producer. He attended Harvard University, where he was an editor of The Crimson, and graduated from New York University Law School. He worked as a litigation associate at the Wall Street firm Cahill Gordon before moving into screenwriting.

Perlman began his television career as a writers' assistant on Drop Dead Diva, for which he wrote an episode. He subsequently wrote for The Newsroom, State of Affairs and The Good Wife, where he served as story editor and executive story editor in addition to writing episodes. His longest tenure was on Billions, for which he wrote or co-wrote fifteen episodes and held producing roles up to executive producer.
