Adama Niane was a French actor. Born in Paris on 23 August 1966, he studied theatre at Sorbonne Nouvelle University Paris 3 and began his career in the late 1980s with the troupe of Philippe Duclos, appearing in stage productions by Alfred de Musset, Pierre de Marivaux, Bernard-Marie Koltès and Jean-Luc Lagarce.

He was known for recurring television roles, including Sébastien Sangha in *Plus belle la vie*, Issa in *Sam*, and Léonard Koné in *Lupin* (2021). Niane appeared as Nadim in the series *The Last Panthers* (2015) and played Guy Georges in the film *SK1* (2014). Other credits include *Get In* (2019) and *The Bare Necessity* (2019). He died in Paris on 28 January 2023.
