## Biography

Adhir Kalyan is a South African actor. Born in Durban, he moved to London in 2005 to pursue an acting career. He appeared in British and Irish television, including roles in the BBC series *Holby City* and *Spooks*, and the RTÉ series *Fair City*.

Kalyan is known for his role as Timmy in the CBS sitcom *Rules of Engagement* (2009–2013), becoming a series regular, and for his performance as Awalmir Karimi in *United States of Al* (2021–2022). His film credits include *Up in the Air* (2009) as a fired IT worker, *Paul Blart: Mall Cop* (2009) as Pahud, *Youth in Revolt* (2009), and *No Strings Attached* (2011). He has also appeared in *Chemical Hearts* (2020).
