## Biography

Adiescar Chase is an English composer and multi-instrumentalist. She is from Bedford, Bedfordshire. She graduated with a first-class BMus (Hons) in composition from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2017 and earned a master's degree in Composition for Film and Television from the National Film and Television School in 2021.

Chase composed the original score for the Netflix series *Heartstopper* (2022–2024), including seasons one and two. She has also composed for the BBC drama series *Waterloo Road* (2023–2025) and other projects including *Bergerac* (2025–2026) and *Falling* (2026). In 2024 she received a BAFTA Craft Award nomination for Best Original Music: Fiction for her work on *Heartstopper*.
