Adrian Spies (17 April 1920 – 2 October 1998) was an American screenwriter. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he studied journalism at Columbia University and worked as a reporter for newspapers including the New York Mirror before moving into radio and then television writing.

Active from the 1940s to the 1980s, he wrote for anthology series such as *Studio One* (for which he won an Edgar Award) and *Climax!*, as well as medical dramas including *Dr. Kildare*. His credits encompass episodes of *Star Trek* (1966), *Hawaii Five-O* (1969), *Baretta* (1975) and *T. J. Hooker* (1982), the screenplay for *Dark of the Sun* (1968), and the short-lived series *Saints and Sinners*, which he created. He received an Emmy nomination for his work on *Dr. Kildare*.

Spies died in Los Angeles during heart surgery.
