## Biography

Adrienne Rush is a screenwriter. She holds an MFA in Screenwriting from the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts, graduating in 2014.

She wrote the teleplay for one episode of the Amazon series *The Underground Railroad* (2021), directed by Barry Jenkins. Earlier credits include the short film *Survivors* (2014) and the television film *Cruel Instruction* (2022). She also served as writers’ assistant on *The Underground Railroad* and as assistant to Destin Daniel Cretton on *The Glass Castle* (2017).

Rush’s screenplay *This Land is Your Land!* was selected for the Sundance Institute’s Emerging Screenwriters Lab. She won a Humanitas Award in 2016 for an hour-long drama written while at FSU.
