Æneas MacKenzie, also credited as Aeneas MacKenzie, was a Scottish-American screenwriter. He was born on 15 August 1889 in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, Scotland, and died on 2 June 1962 in Los Angeles.

MacKenzie wrote screenplays and stories for numerous Hollywood films. His credits include *The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex* (1939), *They Died with Their Boots On* (1941), *Captain Horatio Hornblower R.N.* (1951), *Ivanhoe* (1952), *Against All Flags* (1952), and *The Ten Commandments* (1956). He headed the script team on the latter film.

He began working in Hollywood in the 1930s, including under contract at Warner Bros., and later contributed to productions at other studios such as Universal and MGM.
