## Biography

Aeysha Carr is a television writer and producer. Her early writing credits include episodes of *My Wife and Kids* (2003–2005), *Everybody Hates Chris* (2005–2008) and *Tyler Perry's House of Payne* (2011).

She worked as co-producer and supervising producer on *The Carmichael Show* (2015–2017). On *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* she served as supervising producer across 22 episodes in 2017–2018 and wrote the episode 'The Favor' (2017). Subsequent credits include writing and producing on *Rel* (2018), *Woke* (2020–2022, where she was showrunner and executive producer), *Uncoupled* (2022) and *Government Cheese* (2025, co-creator and executive producer/showrunner).
