## Biography

Agnès Delahaie (also known as Annie Dorfmann) was a French film producer and actress. She produced *Gervaise* (1956), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film, *Pickpocket* (1959) directed by Robert Bresson, *The Trial of Joan of Arc* (1962) also directed by Bresson, and other films including *Young Girls Beware* (1957) and *The Second Twin* (1966).

She began her career as an actress, appearing in *Justice Is Done* (1950) and *Three Women* (1952). Delahaie was the widow of producer Robert Dorfmann and worked as a producer both with and independently of him. She died in Paris on 8 December 2003.
