## Biography

Ahmed Best is an American actor, voice actor and musician. He is best known for portraying Jar Jar Binks in *Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace* (1999), a role he reprised in *Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones* (2002) and *Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith* (2005), as well as in *Star Wars: The Clone Wars* (2008–2014) and other Star Wars media.

Best trained as a percussionist at the Manhattan School of Music and performed with the stage show *Stomp* before being cast as Jar Jar Binks. He later appeared as Jedi Master Kelleran Beq in *The Mandalorian* (2023) and hosted *Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge* (2020). He has also worked in television series including *Alias* (2001) and *Big Time Rush* (2009–2013).
