Akio Satsukawa is a Japanese screenwriter and editor. He also works under the name 岡本悲八. He graduated from Waseda University and is a member of the Japan Writers Guild.

Satsukawa began his career in editing before moving into screenwriting. He contributed to multiple episodes of the television series *Neon Genesis Evangelion* (1995), often in collaboration with Hideaki Anno, as well as to related films including *Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth* (1997). His other credits include screenplays for *Ultraman Tiga* (1996), *Love & Pop* (1998) and series composition on *Gilgamesh* (2003–2004). He has also worked as an editor on *Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water* (1990).
