Al Coronel is an American actor. Born in Los Angeles, California, on 4 October 1969, he trained at the Sanford Meisner Center for the Arts, completing the two-year Meisner programme and the master’s programme under instructor Martin Barter.

His screen credits include the role of Federale Commander in the film *Logan* (2017), President Filo in the series *Westworld* (2016–2020), and appearances in *Lucifer* (2016), *House* (2004), *9-1-1* (2018), *S.W.A.T.* (2017) and *NCIS* (2003). Earlier film work includes an uncredited role in *The Aviator* (2004) and a part in *Blow* (2001). He has also performed in stage productions including *Romeo and Juliet*, *Much Ado About Nothing* and the musical *Cesar & Ruben*.

Before acting, Coronel was a professional salsa dancer who taught and performed at festivals worldwide. He is an eight-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
