## Biography

Al Mackay is a British television director, also credited as Alastair Mackay. He directed episodes of the series *Humans* (2018) and *Banana* (2015).

His other directing credits include episodes of *Crazyhead* (2016), *Deep Water* (2019), *Cobra* (2020–2021), *Without Sin* (2022) and *Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story* (2024). He has also written and directed short films including *The Good Men of Leicester* (2010) and *Hit and Run* (2011). Mackay was named on the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist in 2017 and received a Best Director nomination at the West of England RTS Awards.
