Alain Aptekman was a French writer and actor. Born in Paris on 31 October 1931, he worked primarily as a screenwriter in the 1960s and 1980s.

He wrote the adaptation and dialogue for *Vacances portugaises* (1963) and the adaptation for *The Season for Love* (1961), both directed by Pierre Kast. He also wrote the screenplay for *Le grain de sable* (1964) and contributed to *La java des ombres* (1983).

Aptekman appeared as an actor in *L'Argent* (1983) and other films including *La java des ombres* (1983). He died in Paris on 17 September 2013.
