Alan Freeman (6 July 1927 – 27 November 2006) was an Australian-born British disc jockey and radio personality. He began his career in Australian radio before moving to the United Kingdom in the late 1950s, where he presented programmes on Radio Luxembourg and later the BBC, most notably Pick of the Pops from 1961 to 2000.

Freeman appeared in several films and television programmes, often in cameo roles. His acting credits include Bill Rogers in Dr. Terror's House of Horrors (1965), the TV disc jockey in Sebastian (1968), Call-Me-Cobber in Absolute Beginners (1986), and God in two episodes of the series The Young Ones (1984). He was appointed MBE in 1998.
