Alan Goddard is a British television editor who worked primarily as a videotape editor in the late 1970s and 1980s. He edited episodes of *Doctor Who* (1963) broadcast in 1978 and 1979, including *The Androids of Tara* and *Destiny of the Daleks*.

His other credits include the 1980 television film *Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde*, episodes of *Secret Army* (1979), and comedy series such as *Terry & June* and *Last of the Summer Wine*. He also contributed to *Make 'Em Laugh!* (1993) and sports coverage including *World Championship Snooker*.
