Alan McSheehy is a cinematographer and director of photography based in Glasgow. He has worked extensively in Scottish television, serving as director of photography on the first series of the BBC Scotland sketch show *Burnistoun* (2010).

His other credits as cinematographer or director of photography include *Limmy's Show!* (2009–2012), *Hedz* (2007–2011), *River City* (2015–2016), *Port* (2015–2018) and *Princess Mirror-Belle* (2021–2022). Earlier in his career he worked in the camera department on *Dear Frankie* (2004) and as focus puller on *The Acid House* (1998). He has also contributed to *Outlander* (2014).
