Alan Trong is an American actor, also credited as Alan Nguyen. He was born and raised in Seattle and studied psychology at Texas State University.

Trong's screen credits include Kumaza in *Alita: Battle Angel* (2019), Lt. Tran in *The Tomorrow War* (2021), Chris in *To Leslie* (2022), Sam in *Insecure* (2021) and Sonny in the series *The Sympathizer* (2024). He has also appeared in episodes of *NCIS: Los Angeles*, *Daybreak* and *Animal Kingdom*.

On stage, Trong made his Broadway debut in 2024 as Captain Horster in a revival of *An Enemy of the People*.
