## Biography

Alan Vint was an American character actor. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he appeared in a number of supporting roles during the 1970s in films such as *The Panic in Needle Park* (1971), *Badlands* (1973) as a deputy, *Macon County Line* (1974) and *Earthquake* (1974).

He also made guest appearances on television series including *Hawaii Five-O*, *Emergency!*, *Adam-12*, *Lou Grant* and *Baretta*. Vint appeared in several films with his brother Jesse Vint and later directed the feature *Reversal* (2001).

He was married to Susan Mullen and had three daughters—Kelly, Kate and Megan Vint—who also became actors. Vint and Mullen later divorced. He died in Sherman Oaks, California, on 16 August 2006.
