## Biography

Albert Pinkovitch was a French film producer active in the 1930s. He worked with Frank Rollmer for the production company Réalisation d'art cinématographique (RAC).

With Rollmer, Pinkovitch produced *Jenny* (1936) and *Grand Illusion* (1937), the latter directed by Jean Renoir. The company received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1939; until 1950 the award was given to the production company rather than individuals. He is also credited as producer on *The Man with a Broken Ear* (1935).
