Albert Ruben is an American television writer, producer and former script supervisor. He is credited as a writer on the series *Kojak* (1973–1975), for which he contributed five episodes, and on the feature film *The Seven-Ups* (1973).

Earlier in his career he worked as a script supervisor, often credited as Albert G. Ruben, on series including *The Adventures of Robin Hood* (1955–1957) and *Have Gun – Will Travel* (1957). He later wrote for numerous television films and series, and created the series *Shannon* (1981).

Ruben also produced several *Kojak* television films in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
