## Biography

Alejandro Bazzano is a director of film and television series. Born in Havana, Cuba, on 13 October 1963, he studied architecture in Uruguay before training at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba, graduating in 1990.

He began his career with the documentary *Atahualpa, Pájaro de la Dicha* (1993) and the fiction film *Subterráneos* (1996). Bazzano has directed numerous Spanish-language television series, including episodes of *Money Heist* (2017), *Physics or Chemistry* (2008), *Paco's Men* (2005), *Mar de Plástico* (2015–2016), *Victim Number 8* (2018) and *Inés of My Soul* (2020). He has also worked as a producer and appeared as an actor.
