Alex Carter is a television writer and producer. He began working on the animated series *Family Guy* in 2006 as a writers' assistant and staff writer, later receiving writing credits on multiple episodes and advancing through producing roles including executive story editor, supervising producer, co-executive producer and executive producer.

His other credits include writing episodes of *Hope & Faith* (2004–2005) and serving as co-executive producer and writer on *Bordertown* (2016). He has also been credited on the video game *Family Guy Online* (2012) and is attached to upcoming projects including *Zoo P.D.* and a revival of *Married... with Children*.
