## Biography

Alex Colon was a Puerto Rican actor who appeared in films and television from the early 1970s until the mid-1990s. Born in San Juan, he moved to New York in 1970 and made his Broadway debut that year in Neil Simon's *The Gingerbread Lady*, playing a delivery boy.

His film roles included the delivery boy in *The Taking of Pelham One Two Three* (1974), appearances in *Harry and Tonto* (1974), *Invasion U.S.A.* (1985), *Red Scorpion* (1988), *The Mighty Quinn* (1989), *Deep Cover* (1992) as Molto, and *The Getaway* (1994). On television he featured in episodes of *The A-Team*, *MacGyver*, *Quantum Leap* and *Murder, She Wrote*. He also directed occasional stage productions in New York, Los Angeles and Puerto Rico. Colon died in Los Angeles in 1995.
