Alex Cuthbertson is an American television writer and producer. He was born on 25 July 1980 in Alameda, California.

He began his career writing for the animated series *American Dad!* (2008–2012). Subsequent writing credits include episodes of *Community* (2012), *New Girl* (2013–2016), *Ben and Kate* (2012), *The Mayor* (2017) and *Single Parents* (2019–2020). He has also worked as a producer on several of these series.

With writing partner Matt Fusfeld, Cuthbertson co-created and serves as executive producer on the Apple TV+ series *Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock* (2022–). He married writer and producer Elizabeth Meriwether in 2016.
