## Biography

Alex Kalymnios is an English director, producer and screenwriter. She graduated from Bournemouth University with a BA in TV and Video Production in 2002 and later attended the BBC Director's Academy.

Kalymnios began her career as a runner at Children's BBC, rising to assistant producer, and directed the short film *More Than a Job's Worth*. She directed episodes of *Hollyoaks* (2007–2009), *Hollyoaks Later*, *EastEnders*, *Waterloo Road* and the *Being Human* spin-off *Becoming Human* (2011), the latter earning a BAFTA Cymru nomination. Her later credits include episodes of *The 100* (2014), *Timeless* (2016), *Once Upon a Time* (2011), *Quantico* (2015), *S.W.A.T.* (2017), *Titans* (2018), *The White Princess* (2017) and *The Recruit* (2022), as well as the films *Cleveland Abduction* (2015) and *Love You to Death* (2019).
