Alex Katsnelson is a television writer and producer. Born in Moscow, Russia, he grew up in northern New Jersey and is based in Los Angeles.

He began his career as a writer's assistant to Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman on films including *Transformers* (2007) and *Star Trek* (2009). In 2010 he graduated from the WB Television Writers Workshop and joined the staff of *Undercovers*, before moving to *Chuck* (2007) as a staff writer.

Katsnelson has written episodes of *Hart of Dixie* (2011), *The Tomorrow People* (2013), *Scorpion* (2014) and *Lucifer* (2016). He has also worked as a producer on *Lucifer*, *Joe vs. Carole* (2022) and *Tracker* (2024).
