## Biography

Alex O'Flinn is a film and television editor. He holds a B.A. in English from Kenyon College and an M.F.A. in Film Production from UCLA, where he also serves as a lecturer.

His editing credits include *A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night* (2014), *The OA* (2016–2019), *The Bad Batch* (2017), *The Rider* (2018), *Wander Darkly* (2020), *The Underground Railroad* (2021), and *Sorry, Baby* (2025). He has collaborated with directors including Ana Lily Amirpour, Chloé Zhao, Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, and Barry Jenkins.

O'Flinn received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Editing for *The Rider* and a Peabody Award for *The Underground Railroad*. He has also edited documentaries such as *Jawline* (2019) and *Caterpillar* (2023).
