Alex Tavoularis is an American production designer, art director and illustrator. Born on 14 July 1944 in Los Angeles, he has contributed to numerous feature films, frequently working in art departments alongside his brother, production designer Dean Tavoularis.

His production design credits include *King of New York* (1990), *Beethoven* (1992), *Jade* (1995) and *The Forger* (2012). He served as art director on *The Parent Trap* (1998) and *I Love Trouble* (1994), and as illustrator or storyboard artist on *Apocalypse Now* (1979), *Rising Sun* (1993) and *Spider-Man 2* (2004).
