Alexander Granach (born Jessaja Szajko Gronach) was a German-Austrian actor. He was born on 18 April 1890 in Werbowitz (now Verbivtsi, Ukraine) in Austrian Galicia and died on 14 March 1945 in New York City.

Granach rose to prominence in the theatre at the Volksbühne in Berlin. He entered films in 1922 and appeared in *Nosferatu* (1922) as Knock and *Kameradschaft* (1931) as Kasper. As a Jewish actor he left Germany after 1933, spending time in the Soviet Union before emigrating to the United States in 1938.

In Hollywood his first film role was as Comrade Kopalski in *Ninotchka* (1939). He also appeared in *Foreign Correspondent* (1940), *Hangmen Also Die!* (1943) as Gestapo Inspector Alois Gruber, *For Whom the Bell Tolls* (1943), *The Hitler Gang* (1944) as Julius Streicher and *The Seventh Cross* (1944).
