Alexander Stewart is a British television and audio writer, also credited as Alex Stewart.

He wrote episode seven of series five of *The Last Kingdom* (2022) for Carnival Film & Television and Netflix. Other credits include episodes of *Ackley Bridge* (2021–2022), where he was a core writer on series four and five, *Tin Star: Liverpool* (2020), *Hollyoaks* (2016–2017) and an audio episode of *Torchwood* (2022).

Stewart was selected for the BBC Drama Writers’ Programme in 2017 and named a Broadcast Hotshot in 2012. He has several original drama series in development.
