Alexander Woo is an American television writer and producer. He served as a writer and producer on the HBO series *True Blood* (2008–2014).

He studied creative writing at Princeton University and earned an MFA in playwriting from the Yale School of Drama. His credits include writing for *Wonderfalls* (2004), *Sleeper Cell* (2005) and *Manhattan* (2014), and the screenplay for *The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks* (2017). He co-created and was showrunner for the second season of *The Terror* (2019) and co-created the Netflix series *3 Body Problem* (2024).
