Alexandra Stewart is a Canadian actress. Born on 10 June 1939 in Montreal, she moved to Paris in 1958 to study art and made her film debut the following year in *Les Motards*. She has worked in both French- and English-language cinema.

Her credits include *Exodus* (1960), *The Fire Within* (1963), *The Bride Wore Black* (1968), *Day for Night* (1973), *Black Moon* (1975), *Frantic* (1988) and *Under the Sand* (2001). She provided the English narration for Chris Marker's documentary *Sans Soleil* (1983). Stewart has also appeared in television series such as *Highlander: The Series* (1992) and served on the jury of the 2004 Chicago International Film Festival.

She has a daughter, Justine, with director Louis Malle.
