## Biography

Alexis Grapsas is a Greek film and television composer. Born in Lefkada, Greece, he trained in classical music from a young age and studied film scoring at Berklee College of Music on a scholarship. He has been based in Los Angeles since 2008, where he maintains a studio on the Warner Bros. lot.

Grapsas is known for his scores for the films *Pig* (2021) and *A Quiet Place: Day One* (2024), both directed by Michael Sarnoski, as well as television series including *Big Shot* (2021–2022), *American Horror Stories* (2022–2023) and *Trigonometry* (2020). He has also contributed additional music to *Empire* (2015–2020). He is a Sundance Institute alumnus and Film Independent Fellow, and has received two wins and four nominations for his work.
