## Biography

Alfredo Barrios Jr. is a screenwriter, producer and director. A Mexican-American from Los Angeles, California, he is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. After five years working as a corporate litigator, he moved into screenwriting.

He received early television writing credits on series including *Law & Order* (2004–2005), for which he also served as executive story editor, as well as *Mister Sterling*, *The Lyon's Den*, *Just Legal*, *Close to Home* and *Justice*. He later wrote for and produced *Burn Notice* (2007–2013), rising to executive producer, and served as showrunner and executive producer on *Six* (2017–2018). Subsequent credits include writing and producing on *Magnum P.I.* (2018), *Harlan Coben's Shelter* (2023) and *Hotel Cocaine* (2024). He has also written and directed short films and the feature *Bull Run*.
