## Biography

Alfredo Cuomo was an Italian film producer. Born and educated in Rome, he studied law before receiving a Fulbright Scholarship to the University of Wisconsin. He began his career in the Italian film industry working with Dino De Laurentiis on marketing and promotion, before moving into production.

His producing credits include *Tepepa* (1969), *Dawn of the Dead* (1978), and *The Night Flier* (1997) as co-producer. He also worked as production manager on *A Reason to Live, a Reason to Die* (1972) and collaborated with directors including Dario Argento and George A. Romero. His final film credit was an acknowledgment on *Dogville* (2003).

Later in life Cuomo focused on philanthropy, founding the Cuomo Foundation to support education projects, particularly in India. He died in 2009.
