## Biography

Alfredo Rizzo (1902–1991) was an Italian actor, screenwriter and director. Born in Nice, France, he began his career in avanspettacolo and revue, often performing alongside his brother Carlo Rizzo, before making his film debut in 1939.

He appeared in numerous supporting roles in Italian and international films, including the cab driver in *Roman Holiday* (1953), Brigadiere Squinzi in *Bread, Love and Dreams* (1953), an uncredited hairdresser in *Quo Vadis* (1951), and roles in *La Dolce Vita* (1960), *Boccaccio '70* (1962), *Bloody Pit of Horror* (1965), *Kill, Baby... Kill!* (1966) and *Spirits of the Dead* (1968). From the 1970s he also wrote and directed films, frequently in the erotic genre, sometimes under the name Fred Ritz.
