## Biography

Ali Soufan is a former FBI supervisory special agent and television producer. He served as a producer on the 2018 Hulu miniseries *The Looming Tower*, which dramatised events leading to the 11 September 2001 attacks.

Soufan has appeared as himself in documentaries including *Against All Enemies* (2023) and *The Forever Prisoner* (2021). He is the author of the book *The Black Banners: The Inside Story of 9/11 and the War Against al-Qaeda*.
