Alice Braga Moraes is a Brazilian actress and producer. Born on 15 April 1983 in São Paulo, she is the daughter of actress Ana Braga and niece of actress Sônia Braga. She began acting as a child, appearing in a commercial at the age of eight and a short film, *Trampolim*, in 1998.

Braga gained attention for her role as Angélica in the Brazilian crime film *City of God* (2002). She followed this with parts in *Lower City* (2005) and *Only God Knows* (2006), while briefly attending university. Her English-language debut came in *Journey to the End of the Night* (2006).

She rose to international prominence opposite Will Smith in *I Am Legend* (2007) and has since appeared in Hollywood films including *Predators* (2010), *Elysium* (2013), *The Suicide Squad* (2021) and *Soul* (2020, voice).
