## Biography

Alice Snedden is a New Zealand comedian, writer, actress and director. She began performing stand-up comedy while bartending at Auckland's Basement Theatre and went on to work as a writer and head writer on New Zealand comedy programmes including *Jono and Ben*, *7 Days*, *Funny Girls* and *Golden Boy*.

Snedden co-wrote the BBC series *Starstruck* (2021–2023) with Rose Matafeo and directed several episodes; she also appeared in the series as Amelia. She created and hosted the documentary-comedy series *Alice Snedden's Bad News* and co-created the series *Double Parked* (2023).
